We all know the old Waterford Crystal History but did you know that the most popular Waterford Crystal pattern “Lismore” was designed in the early fifties by a Czech from Czechoslovakia . His name was Miraslov Havel and his Son Brian has written a book called Maestro of Crystal about the trials and tribulations of how this famous designer Dad came to make Waterford Crystal what it is today. Mr Havel is also credited for designing other patterns including Sheila, Hibernia and many many more…
